Who the Green Tractor scheme is for
The Green Tractor scheme helps farmers buy machinery. It pays a fixed subsidy of Rs 0.75 million on a 50 to 65 hp tractor if you own 5 acres or more, or Rs 1 million on a 75 to 125 hp tractor if you own 7 acres or more. Winners are chosen by ballot, and land ownership is checked with the Punjab Land Records Authority, so make sure your fard is in your own name before you apply.
