Is a government internship right for you?
Punjab’s paid internships are short placements for recent graduates, not permanent jobs. The CM IT Internship Program places unemployed graduates with 16 years of education in IT, business, design or related subjects, who finished their degree in the last four years, with IT companies for hands-on experience and mentorship. The Agriculture Department runs a separate internship for agriculture graduates aged up to 27, with 1,500 places a year and a monthly stipend of Rs 70,000 under its 2026-27 plan. If you are still studying, a scholarship such as Honhaar may help more now; if you want to start your own business and already file taxes, Asaan Karobar Finance offers interest-free loans. Read the internship guide for the exact rules and contact numbers, and check the portal often, because batches open with short notice.
