Disclaimer
Punjab Public Guide is not a government website. It is not owned, run, funded or endorsed by the Government of Punjab, the Government of Pakistan, the Chief Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister’s Office or Youth Programme, any education board, IBCC, PHEC, HEC, PSIC, PITB, the Bank of Punjab, or any other department or bank.
What this means for you
Because we are independent, there are limits to what we can do, and it is important that you know them before you rely on any guide. We cannot accept your application, check your status, add your name to a board list or merit list, or get you selected for any scheme. We never charge fees, and we never ask for your CNIC, B-Form, bank details, passwords or one-time codes. The official portal or helpline for each scheme is named and linked in its guide, and that is the only place to apply. Our status labels, such as Applications open, Applications closed, Ongoing service or Completed, show what the official source said on the date we checked, and they can change after that date. If you are unsure about anything, the department’s official helpline has the final word.
Scheme names, logos, screenshots and images
We use scheme names, such as the PM Laptop Scheme or Apni Chhat Apna Ghar, only to describe the programs that people are searching for, not to suggest any link with the departments that run them. Government logos appear only inside screenshots of official websites, captioned with the date we took them, so that readers can recognise the real page and avoid look-alike copies; we never use them as our own branding. The large photos of students, farmers and families on this site are illustrative images created for this website. They show everyday scenes, not officials, not real applicants and not real events, and each is labelled as an illustrative image.
Beware of scams
Every new scheme attracts copycat pages, WhatsApp forms and agents who claim they can register you, guarantee a laptop, loan, card or scholarship, or change your PMT score for a fee. None of the schemes on this site asks for money to select you, and where a scheme does charge a fee, such as the processing fee for Asaan Karobar Finance, the official portal generates the payment slip itself. If anyone asks you to pay to register, to “confirm” a benefit, or to share an OTP from your phone, do not pay and do not share it. Report the person or page to the official helpline of that scheme, and if money has been taken, to the police cybercrime wing.
Accuracy and corrections
We check each guide against official portals, department pages and state media reports, list every source with the date we read it, and show a “Last verified” date at the top of every guide. Even so, official information changes, and different official pages sometimes disagree. When that happens we say so in the guide rather than choosing one version silently. We cannot guarantee that every detail is correct at every moment, and we are not responsible for decisions made by any department or for the content of external websites. If you think something on this site is wrong or out of date, please tell us through our corrections policy, ideally with a link to the official notice, and we will check it quickly.
Advertising and affiliate links
The site is paid for by advertising and, in some guides, by labelled affiliate links. An ad or an affiliate link is not a recommendation from us and not an official government message, even when it mentions a scheme, a loan or a laptop. Government schemes never need an agent, a paid form or a “registration service”, so treat any ad that offers one with care. Ads are chosen by the advertising network, not by us, and if you see one that looks misleading, please report it through the contact page.
