Green Tractor Scheme Punjab 2026: Phase 5 application and Phase 4 ballot result
Subsidy of Rs 0.75M (50 to 65 hp, 5+ acres) or Rs 1M (75 to 125 hp, 7+ acres) per tractor. Application form is live and the Phase IV ballot result is out.

The Green Tractor Scheme Punjab, officially the Chief Minister’s Punjab Green Tractor Program, pays a subsidy of Rs 0.75 million or Rs 1 million on a new tractor for farmers with enough land. On 27 October 2026, the Phase 5 (hi-power) application form was live on the official portal and the Phase 4 ballot result was published.
This guide explains who qualifies for each phase, how to fill in the online form, how the ballot and land verification work, and how to check the result. It is based on the Agriculture Department’s official 2026-27 initiatives page and the gts.punjab.gov.pk portal.

How to fill the Green Tractor form
The form on gts.punjab.gov.pk is short and asks only for your identity, contact and the tractor you want. The land check happens later, after the ballot, so the form itself does not ask for land papers. Choose carefully, because your choice of horse power decides which phase you are in. If you hold 5 to 7 acres, you qualify only for the low power phase. These are the fields on the form:
- Your CNIC number.
- Your phone number, ideally registered in your own name.
- Tractor category: imported or local.
- The make or brand, model and horse power, from drop-down lists.
- Tick to agree to the terms and conditions, type the captcha and press Submit.

Phase 4 and Phase 5 at a glance
The Agriculture Department runs two tractor phases in 2026-27, split by engine power. Phase IV is for low power tractors of 50 to 65 horse power, the size most small and medium farmers use for ploughing and haulage, and needs 5 acres or more. Phase V is for hi power tractors of 75 to 125 horse power, suited to larger farms and heavy implements, and needs 7 acres or more. The subsidy is a fixed amount per tractor, so you pay the rest of the tractor’s price yourself. Check the latest dealer price for the model you want before you apply, so that you know how much you will need to arrange.
| Phase IV (Low Power) | Phase V (Hi Power) | |
|---|---|---|
| Tractors | 10,000 | 9,500 |
| Horse power | 50 to 65 hp | 75 to 125 hp |
| Minimum land | 5 acres | 7 acres |
| Subsidy per tractor | Rs 0.75 million | Rs 1 million |

How the ballot and allotment work
Winners are chosen by a computer ballot, because applications are usually far more than the number of subsidised tractors. Winning the ballot is not the end of the process. The note on the official Phase IV result page sets out what happens next. The list is provisional and may contain errors. Each winner’s land ownership is checked again with PLRA, the Punjab Land Records Authority, before the tractor is confirmed, so the land must really be in your name and meet the acre limit. All winners are also screened as per Schedule-IV of the Government of Pakistan. Successful farmers then collect their allotment letters from the office of the Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) in their district. Keep your CNIC and land record ready when you go.
How to check the Phase 4 ballot result
The result is checked one farmer at a time, by CNIC, on the official portal. There is no public PDF list on the portal, and lists shared as PDFs on WhatsApp may be old, partial or edited, so always confirm your own result on the official page. If your CNIC is not found, you were not drawn in that ballot; you can apply again when a new phase opens.
- Open the official Phase IV balloting result page.
- Type your CNIC and the captcha.
- Press Submit. If you are listed, contact your district DDA Agriculture (Extension) office with your CNIC and land record.
Other farmer support in Punjab
A tractor is only one part of farm costs. Farmers who run an agri business, such as a machinery rental service or a cold store, and file tax returns can look at Asaan Karobar Finance, which lends Rs 1 million to Rs 30 million at 0%. Families on a low income should keep their PSER record up to date, because several Punjab programs use it to decide who qualifies. Each guide lists its official link and the date we checked it.
